What personal data we collect and why
Comments
We collect the data shown in the comment form, plus IP address and browser user-agent for spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to check if you use it (policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/). After approval, your profile image is public with your comment.
Media
If you upload images, avoid EXIF GPS/location data. Visitors can download/extract location data from images on the site.
Contact forms & enquiries
If you submit a contact/enquiry form, we collect what you provide (e.g., name, email, message, company, phone if provided) to respond and keep basic records of communications.
User accounts (if registration is enabled)
We store profile information you provide. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information (except username). Admins can also see and edit that information.
Analytics & performance
We use analytics (e.g., Google Analytics 4) to understand site usage. GA4 may set cookies and collect IP (with IP anonymization where supported), device info, pages visited, and events to improve content and performance.
AI Text-to-Speech & AI features (Bee Happy TTS / BeeSpeak AI)
When you play page audio or use AI features, visible page text may be processed by providers (e.g., Google Cloud Text-to-Speech or browser Web Speech API) to generate audio/responses. We don’t use this data to build marketing profiles. Cached audio files (if any) exist only to improve speed.
Embedded content
Articles may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, posts). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited those sites directly and may collect data and use cookies.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links. Clicking them may set tracking cookies/parameters to attribute referrals and calculate commissions. This does not change your price. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Cookies
- Comment convenience: Save your name/email/website for next time (1 year).
- Login & screen options (if accounts enabled): Login cookies last 2 days; screen options 1 year. “Remember Me” keeps login for 2 weeks; logging out removes login cookies.
- Editor cookie: When you edit/publish an article, a cookie storing the post ID (no personal data) lasts 1 day.
- Analytics cookies: Used to measure traffic and improve the site.
You can control cookies via your browser settings. Some features may not work if cookies are disabled.
Who we share your data with
Only as necessary with trusted providers:
- Hosting, security/CDN
- Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Anti-spam (e.g., Akismet or similar)
- Email/CRM (for contact replies and updates)
Each receives only the minimum data needed to perform their service.
If you request a password reset, your IP may be included in the reset email for security.
How long we retain your data
- Comments & metadata: indefinitely (to auto-approve follow-ups).
- Contact form submissions: up to 12 months unless needed longer for legal reasons.
- User accounts: while the account is active; you can request deletion.
- Analytics: per provider settings (e.g., GA4 typically 14–26 months).
Your rights
Subject to Thailand PDPA and GDPR (where applicable), you may:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing)

Our providers may operate globally. Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
Security

Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or relevant local age). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us to remove it.
